Manny Pacquiao and Brandon Rios will get the full-on HBO promotional treatment for their November 23 pay-per-view main event from Macao, China, with the network scheduling a “24/7″ series for the fight, as well as a “Face Off” feature with Max Kellerman.
“Pacquiao-Rios 24/7″ will debut on November 9, paired with a Nonito Donaire/Mikey Garcia doubleheader. The weekend before, “Face Off” will premiere, on November 2.
This will be familiar territory for Pacquiao, but his training camp will be held entirely in the Philippines this time, which is good for him geographically with the fight in Macao, plus it might give the “24/7″ producers something new to work with, as The Story of Manny has grown a bit tired, not because it isn’t interesting, but simply because we have been there and done that for seven of Pacquiao’s last nine fights.
